I’m Seth Watts and I’m a California native. I have a passion for chasing one of the most iconic big game animals in California – the black bear.

My adventures began in 2013 and filled my first bear tag in 2018. Since then I have filled a bear tag every year.

California only has a fall bear season but this gives me a chance to hunt out of state for the spring season. I also run many trail cameras. I enjoy seeing the wildlife California has to offer and it also help me prepare for hunting season since I can’t be on the mountain every weekend scouting. Currently, I serve as the Vice President of the American Bear Foundation – California Chapter.
